The centennial celebration continues with another company premiere, Wynton Marsalis’s A Fiddler’s Tale on Friday, November 10 at the Stockbridge Theatre (22-98 Bypass 28, Derry); Saturday, November 11 at the Rex Theatre (23 Amherst St, Manchester); and Sunday, November 12 at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage (16 S Main St, Concord).

Grammy Award-winning jazz trumpeter and composer Wynton Marsalis has modernized Stravinsky’s 1918 The Soldier’s Tale, an iconic story of fame, fortune, and the devil. Blues, Jazz, tangos, rags, waltzes, and classical music are heard in this updated story of love, greed, and Faustian bargains. Guest Artist Danny Rivera will make his Symphony NH debut in the role of the narrator.
