Need one-on-one help with specific tasks using a computer, phone or tablet?
Stop by the Information desk every Tuesday 6-7 and Thursday 6-7 for a 30-60 min drop-in session. No registration required. First come first served.
Generally Tuesday is the day designated for help with reading devices and tablets, Thursday is the day for help with computers. However, we are flexible.
Bring your device or laptop or use one of our public computers.
Make sure you have all the necessary cords and passwords, bring a USB to save your files or buy one at the front desk.
Some examples of what we can help with:
Basic tablet use and help with apps such as Cloud Library, Libby or others
Setting up an e-mail account, such as Gmail
Setting up a Facebook account
Microsoft Office Help
Specific email tasks, such as attaching documents or pictures
Specific Facebook tasks, such as sharing photos
Organizing your documents and photos by using folders
Transferring photos or documents in/out of different devices
Scanning documents
General help with job applications
Filling out on-line forms
General help with online bill pay
We can help with other similar tasks, however, we won’t be able to offer tax advice or assist with computer upgrades.
