Discover the Secrets of Romani Fortune Telling through a beginner-friendly tarot and intuition workshop with the Derry Public Library!
The Derry Public Library welcomes Jezmina Von Thiele (they/she), a speaker, educator, and generational fortune teller in their Sinti-Romani family tradition.
This hands-on class explores tarot as an intuitive tool rooted in Romani cultural tradition, community care, and personal growth. Delve into divination as a practical survival trade and innate intuitive skill that we all have. Bring your own deck if you have one—extras will be available—and leave with tools you can use right away.
*Presenter’s note: Roma are a diasporic ethnic group originally from India, also known by the slur/misnomer “Gypsies.”
