The Terrifying 25 is a list of some of the most challenging trails in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Trish, Alex, and Sage Herr created this list on a whim, seven years ago, for their own amusement. Trish shared the list on a public hiking forum and, over the years, through word-of-mouth, the list became a popular pursuit among New England hikers.
