We teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry and other community partners to bring you Topsy Turvy Day: A Interactive Safety Day. Kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry got the opportunity to learn all about different aspects of staying safe.ย
Officer Daniel and Officer Sullivan from the Derry Police Department allowed kids to tour their vehicles. And in a twist, the kids became the officers in a mock traffic stop to pull over Chris Bishop from Dartmouth-Hitchcock! Neil Moore from Parkland Medical, a WWII reenactor, taught kids all about World War II while showing them how to properly dress and tend to wounds. Jim Martley and Tom Dube showed off their antique cars and taught about staying safe while riding in a car.
Special Thanks to our community partners for making this event happen!
