Have you ever wanted to go back in time? The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War gave us a glimpse of what it was like during the Civil War during their Civil War Reenactment on June 3rd. The event was sponsored and organized by the Derry History Museum and hosted by the First Parish Church UCC. Visitors were able to meet reenactors dressed up around the camp in uniforms and outfits commonly worn during the Civil War. There were also displays for visitors to see what the day to day life of a Civil War soldier was like. The Purple Snack Shack was even onsite providing snacks and food!
